Behind his physical limitations, Achmad Fathul Bari, or often called Aril, is an extraordinary child. With a never-ending spirit, he has managed to prove that disability is not an obstacle to the activities of normal children. With his extraordinary talent, Aril has amazed many people and inspired us all. His story is clear proof that every child, regardless of condition, has extraordinary potential.
A child with a hearing disability (deaf) lives a colorful life every day. Aril is a 15-year-old boy who lives in Kwanyar, Bangkalan. Since childhood, he has shown great interest in fine arts, especially drawing. He can draw beautifully without having to learn from others or can be called self-taught. He often draws anime, webtoon, and cartoon in a very personalized way.
Besides drawing, Aril's daily activity outside of school is making kites. He usually makes kites of various shapes and then sells them to his friends. With such a young age and the limitations he has, he can already do business and earn his own money.
Recently, Aril participated in a fashion show competition at his school, and he received an award trophy for being the third best participant. He also participated in the mauled of the prophet Muhammad SAW event held at his school. He presented a dance titled "Kun Anta" with his classmates. Every time he participates in such activities, he always tries or practices hard so that on the D-day he can perform optimally. So, the champion he got was very appropriate because it was in accordance with the efforts he made.
Aril's journey in everyday life is not always easy. As the saying goes, sometimes life's journey is not always smooth, but that's what makes it colorful. Aril often faces challenges in socializing and communicating with others. He was even bullied by his own friends before he went to his current school, namely SLB Samudra Lavender, Bangkalan. However, he still faces everything and goes through his day with a smile.
Aril's story teaches us that every child has unique and valuable potential. He also teaches that passion and determination can overcome all obstacles. With the right support and opportunities, he can achieve amazing things. We need to embrace diversity and provide equal opportunities for all children, including children with special needs.
Aril is an inspiring figure. His story proves that every individual, regardless of their physical condition, has the potential to work. Let us learn from Aril's fighting spirit and his efforts to give his best. Let us together create an inclusive environment for all children, so that they can grow and develop according to their potential.
