Activities of Czech students during the CCI program.

International Relations Office (IRO) University of Trunojoyo Madura (UTM) held again the annual Cross-Cultural Internship (CCI) program. CCI is a student exchange activity involving students from Palacky University Olomouc who come to University of Trunojoyo Madura. It aims to learn, improve, and exchange knowledge about Indonesian culture, especially Madurese culture. There are many series of activities carried out by Czech students during the CCI program in Madura, which this program started from 27 August. Here are some activities that have taken place for 9 days.

On day 1, the Czech students were picked up at the airport. Then on day 2, a welcome party was held and continued to hang out at the cafe. On day 3, the Palacky University students visited the greenhouse and learned about various types of spices in Indonesia. Then continued to the agricultural science and technology laboratory, where they were given the opportunity to taste various popular herbs and learn about the process of making herbs. On day 4, the Czech students attended Indonesian class and continued to visit Tengket Beach and taste Bebek cuisine. On day 5, they attended Madurese class and learned how to make Rujak. On day 6, they traveled to Mount Bromo. On day 7, they participated in outbound games created by IRO team. On day 8, they learned the process of making and coloring batik. On day 9, the activity was an introduction to Indonesian cuisine and Czech cuisine. Next, attended stop-motion class.
